About me...

Hola! I’m Johan. I’ve always been passionate about solving problems, mainly those that require a visual solution.

I have +10 years of working experience with a strong technical background. Throughout my career, I have faced lots of different professional challenges, having done back-end and front-end development, working as a scrum master for various products, moving to a product designer role and most recently acting as a lead designer for one of the biggest projects I’ve ever had the chance to work for.

I consider myself as a very empathetic human being, one of the characteristics that has helped me the most in my transition to product design. I really love to get to understand and refine with the customer (and the user!) the problem they’re trying to solve, because ultimately it is all about solving problems.

I’m Colombian, speak 5 languages, finished my studies in France (and obtained my French citizenship), been living in Europe for the past 12 years, love swimming & jogging and discovered a new passion in meditation.
